We welcome you to the Hameau de Galice,
the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing break
in the heart of unspoilt countryside near Duras in south west France.
Each day here offers the chance to unwind and recharge: country walks, outdoor activities, visits to local villages, markets and vineyards. Enjoy a dip in the pool, a snooze in the shade and balmy evenings on the terrace.
Whether you're looking for a tranquil retreat, convivial moments, or a base to discover the rich local heritage, our litte hamlet is the ideal spot. You'll be seduced by its rustic charm and take home memories to cherish as well as a wish to return.
We moved to the region in 2017 and bought the estate - a 19th century farm on six hectares of land- with the aim of making it not just our home but a place for the others too to discover tranquility and calm. The property had been abandoned for sometime and required extensive renovation which we carried out ourselves. We have been welcoming guests here since the summer of 2019.
